CITIC Pacific (Hong Kong) Group acquired an 80% equity stake in Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel, transforming the company into a Sino-foreign joint venture.

Hebei Iron and Steel Group (now HBIS Group) acquired all equity stakes from CITIC Pacific (Hong Kong) Group, making Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel a wholly-owned subsidiary of HBIS Group.
